WSSC Water will host a virtual meeting about replacing water mains along Furman Parkway in the Travilah area of northern Potomac.
The meeting is scheduled for Sept. 16 at 6:30 p.m. Residents can join through Microsoft Teams or dial in at 240-800-7929, using Conference ID 777 926 394#, according to WSSC Water's event page.
WSSC Water has not released details about which streets will be affected, how much pipe will be replaced, or when construction will start. Those specifics are expected at the Sept. 16 session, where residents can ask questions.
The project is the latest WSSC infrastructure work in the Potomac and Travilah corridor this year. The utility held community meetings for a Falls Road sewer project in Potomac on June 10, a Wandering Trail sewer project in Potomac on Aug. 4, and a Watts Branch Roads sewer project in Travilah on Jan. 7, according to WSSC Water's project meetings page.
