Potomac Community Resources holds its annual Halloween party on Friday, Oct. 30, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Connelly School of the Holy Child, 9029 Bradley Blvd.
The nonprofit noted a new day and time for the party on its website. The previous schedule was not specified.
PCR brings together people with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities through therapeutic, social, recreational and respite care programs. The organization was founded in 1994 by families at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Parish who saw a need for greater support for teens and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, according to the group's history page.
What began as a local initiative has grown into a nonsectarian Maryland nonprofit serving hundreds of individuals and families across the region. PCR now offers more than 30 programs spanning music, fitness and wellness, art and photography, skills development, respite care, and special events.
The Halloween party follows PCR's 29th Annual Patricia Sullivan Benefit, which took place Saturday, Oct. 17. That event honors the memory of Patricia Tynan Sullivan.
Residents can visit pcr-inc.org for more information about the party and PCR's programs.
