Potomac diners can score three-course meals at fixed prices through Sunday, Aug. 30, as Metropolitan Washington Summer Restaurant Week continues.
Founding Farmers, at 12505 Park Potomac Ave., is the local entry in the annual promotion, offering a $35-per-person lunch and a $40-per-person dinner. Both are three-course meals at set prices.
The weeklong event, organized by the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington, kicked off Monday, Aug. 24, with more than 380 restaurants participating across D.C., Maryland and Virginia. RAMW President and CEO Shawn Townsend said in a statement that the promotion is meant to encourage diners to explore new spots or revisit favorites across the region.
Across the DMV, brunch and lunch menus are priced at $25 or $35 per person, while dinner menus run $40, $55 or $65. Some restaurants are also offering wine or cocktail pairings and outdoor dining options. This year's lineup includes RAMMYS finalists and winners, according to Bethesda Magazine. More than 30 restaurants are participating for the first time.
Several other Montgomery County restaurants are in the mix for diners willing to drive a few minutes. Morton's Steakhouse in Bethesda is offering a $65 dinner menu, while The Salt Line Bethesda has a $35 lunch and $55 dinner. Pisco Y Nazca in Bethesda is running $35 brunch, $25 lunch and $55 dinner options.
About 30 restaurants plan to extend their deals past Aug. 30, according to Axios, though it's unclear whether Founding Farmers is among them.
Reservations are open now. Full menus are available at RAMW's Restaurant Week website, and RAMW is running a Diner Rewards Program that enters members into Restaurant Week giveaways.
