WSSC Water will hold a virtual meeting Wednesday, Nov. 4, on the Zimmerman Park Water Main Replacement Project in Potomac.

The project outreach event begins at 6:30 p.m., according to the utility's event page. Residents can join online through Microsoft Teams or dial in by phone at 240-800-7929, using conference ID 861 035 370#.

WSSC Water, the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission, has not yet published a project description, affected street list or construction timeline for the Zimmerman Park work. The Nov. 4 meeting is the first public forum listed for the project.

The Zimmerman Park meeting is one of several water main replacement outreach sessions WSSC Water has scheduled in Potomac this fall. The utility's community project meetings page lists a Winterset Court Water Main Replacement Project meeting held Oct. 27 and a Devilwood Drive Water Main Replacement Project meeting held Sept. 23. Both of those projects are also in Potomac.

No project manager or engineering staff have been publicly named for the Zimmerman Park project. For other Potomac-area projects, WSSC Water has assigned technical contracts supervisor Min Lwin and senior civil engineer Ivelina Bonilla, according to the community meetings page.
