Potomac diners can score three-course meals at discounted prices starting Monday, Aug. 24, when Duke's Grocery and Founding Farmers Montgomery County participate in Metropolitan Washington Summer Restaurant Week.

The two River Road corridor restaurants are among more than 380 across the D.C. metro area offering prix-fixe brunch, lunch and dinner menus during the weeklong promotion, which runs through Sunday, Aug. 30. The event is organized by the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington. Lunch and brunch run $25 or $35 per person; dinner options are $40, $55 or $65 per person for on-site dining, according to Montgomery Magazine.

Nearly half of participating restaurants are also offering cocktail, wine or nonalcoholic pairings.

Duke's Grocery

The East London-inspired spot at 10128 River Rd. serves farm-fresh comfort food, British beer and craft cocktails. The restaurant says it has been voted best burger in D.C. 10 years running. Duke's Grocery Potomac is open Monday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Reservations can be made by calling 240-403-7342.

Founding Farmers Montgomery County

The farm-to-table American restaurant at 12505 Park Potomac Ave. is majority-owned by family farmers of the North Dakota Farmers Union and holds LEED and 3 Star Certified Green Restaurant designations. The broader Founding Farmers brand has RAMMY Award recognition: Lorena Reyes of the D.C. location won Manager of the Year in 2025. Free garage parking is available for up to two hours. Spots fill up fast. The RAMW's official site directs diners to rwdmv.com to browse all participating restaurants, view Restaurant Week menus and make reservations. Specific prix-fixe menus for the two Potomac locations had not been posted as of Aug. 18. Diners can check rwdmv.com for updates before the Aug. 24 start.
