Potomac residents on or near Hannon Street will get a chance to hear about a planned water main replacement at a virtual community meeting Thursday, Oct. 15, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

WSSC Water, the public utility serving Montgomery and Prince George's counties, will host the session on Microsoft Teams. Residents can also dial in at 240-800-7929, Conference ID: 929 380 688#.

The utility has not released details on the project's scope, including which sections of pipe will be replaced, how many properties are affected, or when construction might begin.

The Hannon Street project is the fourth Potomac infrastructure job WSSC Water has held a community meeting on this year, following sessions for the Falls Road Sewer Rehabilitation Project, the Wandering Trail Sewer Rehabilitation Project and the Devilwood Drive Water Main Replacement Project.
